I own and show Bracco Italianos (Italian Pointers) Being show dogs it is very important to have good conformation and the amazing gait Braccos are known for.
I had bred a litter and kept a boy as a show prospect, but as he started to mature and be ready for his show career, I noticed he had a slight roach in his topline and wasn’t carrying tail up as well. He had also been lacking in muscle in his hindquarters. With this, I decided being such a young puppy at around 4 months to try Bowen therapy - as it was a gentle approach for his growing body. After about 3 sessions I noticed an improvement with his toppling and tail set, then after a few months, his muscle tonehad also improved. He is now 8 months old and has entered the show world with lots of wins thanks to his treatment he received as a baby.
I will definitely use Bowen therapy again.

Rocket our Kelpie cross came into our lives at 6 months old. We already had another dog Pippa a Kelpie cross also. Rocket has always been a loving and affectionate dog full of energy.
We had been training him with the lead on walks with Pippa, while being with our friends and their dogs. However over time, he began getting anxious on walks with pulling constantly and reacting aggressively towards other dogs and noises. Going on a walk was a negative experience for everyone involved.
A friend recommended Happy Houndsk9s and from the moment we met Leanne things changed for the better. Leanne taught us the importance of taking responsibility back from the dogs, while we were showing good leadership as head of the pack. After several months of “(actually easy work) ”setting some boundaries in everyday life to show Rocket, he can now walk loose lead in familiar places being calm and relaxed when we see other dogs/people from a distance.
We still have a way to go for Rocket to be able to walk loose lead all the time while being comfortable around other dogs, but from the gains we have made we now believe this will be possible. A great recommendation for our canines.

This is Blu, one very relaxed canine after his Bowen Therapy in Adelaide last Tuesday evening. Although still young, Blu has issues with his hips - but has shown improvement since starting his treatment with Bowen.
